Pics from my first trip to Angkor and the end of January 2009 :-
Words and pics simply cannot do justice to the monumentally awe-inspiring grandeur of Angkor which has to be experienced in person to be fully appreciated. The sheer multitude and immense magnitude of the sites which were far more than i ever imagined really bowled me over! Angkor should be a pilgrimage everyone in South East Asia must make!!

Bagkok was in a word : "OVERWHELMING!", there's just so much to see and do there that despite spending 5 nights in the city i was left wanting MORE... MUCH MORE!!!! It's also a city of contrasts not only materially with gleaming luxuries against a backdrop of slums but spiritually as well where you can ascend to the sublimest heavens in its Wats and descend to the sleaziests of hells in its "bars". In short Bangkok makes you feel alive in ways you may have never thought possible and after my much delayed first trip there, I very much look forward to returning!
A small-town boy from Malacca, Malaysia, which was home for the first 20 yrs of my life, I went on to live in Melbourne, Australia for over 3 years and then Singapore for a couple of years. Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia was home from 1997 to 2007 followed by a stint of almost 3years in Saigon, Viet Nam. Currently back in Kuala Lumpur since Sep 2010.
Born in the year 1969 this particular Earth-Rooster is reflective, cautious, intuitive and methodical. As the least flamboyant of the 5 different roosters I place a great importance on stability and a sense of grounding which in turn empowers me to explore, appreciate and experience life in all its richness. I relish knowledge in all its forms, enjoy scrutinizing details and tend to over-analyze anything and everything.
Loyalty, commitment and steadfastness are the traits of my Capricorn zodiac closest to my heart. Above all I treasure open mindedness and acceptance of the great varieties of individualities which colour the species we know as human.
