When Cats Adopt....

When i was back home in Penang for Christmas last month (last yr in fact haha) 3 most wonderful little christmas presents greeted me as soon as i arrived at my family home there.
Apparently this stray mother cat had decided to adopt the house by just planting herself here and expecting food and shelter as if she was some reincarnated egyptian cat goddess which we humans are cosmically-fated to worship and adore...
This is the second time it has happend to my family, we were similarly adopted by a stray mother cat who gave birth to 6 kittens in malacca way back in 1975 (yes i am that ancient). Anyway as a cat lover (love all animals... even humans) i was delighted with this 3 feline yuletide gifts and so were my 3 nieces and 1 nephew (age range 8-10) who were all over the hapless kittens smothering them in their overenthusiastic care. Luckily (for the kittens) my nieces and nephew were not staying in this particular house so the abuse was limited to about an hour a day during the eve, x'mas and boxing day.
